About
I'm a UI/UX designer who helps users feel confident, connected, and supported by designing research-driven interfaces shaped by empathy, curiosity, and clear visual systems. I believe exceptional design is rooted in the same practices that shaped my early career: listening deeply, understanding people's needs, and creating experiences that feel welcoming and thoughtful.
I've leveraged my background as a teacher, education coordinator, hospitality specialist, and community habilitation specialist to cultivate a truly people-first design approach. I've built end-to-end case studies for Hive and Heyday, and collaborated on the UI/UX design of TiriVelo's pet-care website. I'm actively seeking opportunities — paid or volunteer — that allow me to support real teams and users.
I'm certified in UI/UX design through Springboard's UI/UX Career Track program and hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the State University of New York at Brockport.
When I’m Not Designing
I try to spend as much time outside as I can in my free time, usually with a camera in hand. I love learning and practicing analogue photographic printing processes, particularly cyanotype. It’s a world balanced by experimentation and intention, and the slowness is a welcome contrast to the fast pace of design.
My partner and I travel whenever we can (even though our two cats are always mad at us when we come home). We're always chasing places and experiences we haven't encountered yet.
I still volunteer with the after-school youth program, Studio 678, I used to be an education coordinator for. That community and mission mean so much to me, and I'm grateful to still be connected even after stepping away from being there full time to pursue design.
I love discovering new music and catching live shows, trying new restaurants, and saying yes to most things I haven't tried before.
